Original Art

Heidi Gruetzemacher enjoys telling people that at 26 she decided to never take work that was not art related. Her dream was to be a working artist, she wanted her life to have creative meaning beyond the mundane. That decision led to a lifetime journey of work in areas of graphic design, as a photography lab technician, commercial photography, as media support for faculty classrooms, in photojournalism, and eventually led her to accept photography assignments abroad.  Currently, Heidi owns and operates the Frame Gallery in Orcutt, CA and has been designing framing for artwork for 30 years.
